About
hi, I’m rachael—founder of rachael b pilates and the movement for life studio.
my journey into health and wellbeing began early, shaped by a deep curiosity about how the body works. after graduating with a degree in Pharmacology and Toxicology, I developed a strong interest in natural therapies and holistic approaches to healing. a personal experience with low back pain in my 30s led me to Pilates, and it quickly became a lifelong passion.

About
hi i'm cathi one of the team at the movement for life studio.
inspired by movement and driven by a passion for helping others rediscover their natural poise, i support people in moving freely—without pain—to cultivate energy, vitality, and a healthier way of living.
i've been a certified Body Control Pilates instructor since 2009 and hold a level 4 qualification in Back Pain management. i’m also certified in clinically-based Pilates Reformer through APPI.
in addition, i’m a qualified Alexander Technique teacher (MSTAT), and this deeply influences my approach to Pilates, bringing a mindful awareness to movement and posture.
having experienced the pressures of running businesses, I understand the demands of corporate life—and I also appreciate the everyday challenges we all face. my personal journey includes recovering from several major accidents and multiple fractures, giving me firsthand insight into the process of healing and restoring balance in the body.
to stay active, I enjoy swimming, walking, and running.
i look forward to welcoming you to class and supporting your journey toward better movement and wellbeing.
